Summer is here, and the Arlington Works team is kicking off the season by piloting a new series of job and technology skills workshops! The week-long workshops were developed by AmeriCorps members serving at REEP and Edu-Futuro, and will provide REEP students an opportunity to improve their English and technology skills while REEP is on it's summer break. Lessons will focus on basic internet navigation, word processing, and applying for jobs online. Intermediate and advanced students will also work on drafting a resume and cover letter to use in their job search. We had a great turnout at registration for the classes and we're looking forward to getting into the classroom tomorrow!
